Ali Saad is specialized in the close integration of research and design in the fields of architecture, urban design and planning. Ali studied architecture at the Technical University Berlin and the Universitat politècnica de Barcelona with grants from the Studienstiftung des deutschen Volkes and the European Commission. He graduated in Berlin in May 2004.
From 2004 to 2007 Ali was assistant professor at the TU Berlin and conducted extensive research and teaching at the chairs of Wouter Vanstiphout and Luis Feduchi. His professional design experience includes working at Enric Miralles Benedetta Tagliabue associates in Barcelona and various independent commissions.
Ali has joined Maxwan in 2008. He has been responsible for the study of a 140m tower building in den Haag and is currently involved in the supervising team of the Barking Riverside master plan in London.
